Ed adopted Blake from Guide Dogs for the Blind. He provides his golden retriever with a caring home. In fact, he has so much love for Blake, he says, “Blake is my whole life. My wife is currently in skilled nursing, so he and I have to hold down the fort.” Even his neighbors at Eskaton Village Carmichael enjoy Blake on a daily basis. Walking around the 34-acre campus you’ll see many residents loving on Blake. Ed says, “I would like to clone him, because I want to have him forever. He’s smart, has a great temperament, and he’s just lovely all around.”
