Throughout the years, she has loved playing a variety of musical styles. At the moment, she enjoys playing Elvis Presley-style Gospel music. Piano isn’t just her passion, music was her career for over 35 years. Sylvia received a Bachelor of Art in Music Education from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. Her greatest accomplishments were from St. Olaf. She was on the [choir](http://wp.stolaf.edu/stolaf-choir/), one of the most prestigious choirs in the United States. For over a century, this choir has set a standard of choral excellence. Sylvia talked about being 92 years old. “Old age is not a disease. It’s a condition. I have chosen to enjoy life and be content of where I am. Follow the Lord’s lead and do what you love to do.” Sylvia follows her own advice.
