On Memorial Day, Eskaton Lodge Granite Bay residents visited the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery where several spouses reside. Barbara honored the life and memory of her husband Dick. "Dick was super funny," says Barbara. "We met in Chicago, he worked for my dad, we were married 59 years." Barbara’s son Jack and Vinnie from the Eskaton staff helped Barbara to Dick’s grave site. Barbara reminisced about the years Dick was the president of Little League and all the places they traveled together. Here is to Dick for his service to this country and to the wonderful life he built with Barbara.
