#PrideMonth 🌈 is almost over, but we're still celebrating! Meet Sheri Peifer, Eskaton's Chief Strategy Officer. Sheri joined #TeamEskaton at Sacramento Pride this year as we marched in unity.
Q: What does Pride mean to you?
A: "Pride means we love and respect people; it is an opportunity to learn and discover the beauty of diversity and how we are all connected in our humanness."
Q: Why is celebrating Pride important for Eskaton?
A: "Pride is important for Eskaton because we are committed to caring for one another and those within our care. It is important to celebrate how our diversity enriches and deepens our connection and sense of community. We need to be intentional about building bridges for all people to belong to our community."
Q: What did you like most from your experience at Sacramento Pride?
A: "I enjoyed marching and celebrating Pride in Sacramento with my colleagues and the residents who filled the bus; plus my twins who joined me in walking!"
